Taking place over 3 days and nights in downtown Winooski, Waking Windows features over 180 bands, comedians and DJs at over 15 different venues, including 2 outdoor stages. Now in its 10th year, the festival has grown to become one of the largest showcases of live music in the state, drawing over 5,000 people throughout the weekend. This year we celebrate our 10th (TEN!) year in the Winooski community with 2022 headliners are Japanese Breakfast and Dinosaur Jr. Volunteers are a huge part of the magic that brings the festival to life. - Volunteers who complete a full volunteer shift will receive a FREE WEEKEND PASS to the festival. - Volunteers are required to pre-pay for their pass and are reimbursed after the festival, having completed their shift. - Shifts are 3 or 4 hours each, depending on the role. - Volunteer shifts are available before, during and after the festival. - Various roles include Venue Door, Crossing Guard, Clean up, Set-up, Tear-down, Volunteer Desk, Sound Engineer, Kid Zone, and Runner.
