Hi:
I've been participating in Aqua Aerobics at Shamel Park in Riverside for a couple of years. Depending of the class you sign up for, it is either MWF mornings of Tue/Thu mornings, for an hour in the morning. Class demographics are mostly senior-ish women, some significantly handicapped.
The water is warm and seems to use salt rather than chlorine as a disinfectant.
I cannot say enough about aquaerobics. When working out in the deep end (the "deep people," LOL) there is no loading on joints, so bad backs, etc., do well. Mind you is IS a serious workout. Cost is $50 a month through the City of Riverside Parks Dept., first visit is free when visiting with a member.
