Pierpont Manufacturing is looking for an additional Experienced Team Member with a high Mechanical Aptitude to assemble and package metal products, such as: Conduit benders, Wire pullers, utility carts, hand trucks, large reels, trailers, hand tools and more, by working on the shop floor performing the following duties.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
-Must be mechanically inclined and competent in required job skills.
-Familiar with hand tools, saws and pneumatic devices in order to build products by following procedures as outlined in our work instructions.
-Works cooperatively in group situations, contributes to building a positive team spirit; supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
-Dependability - Is consistently at work on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.; completes tasks on time.
-Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance.
Qualifications:
-Education and/or Experience: 1-2 Years of practical experience in a warehouse, production and shipping environment.
-Fork lift experience preferred.
