Laser Skin Care Center, Long Beach’s leading comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatology facility, has made two new additions to its highly respected team of physicians and staff. Dr. Sara Hogan, a fellowship-trained medical and cosmetic dermatologist with extensive knowledge in minimally-invasive cosmetic treatments, joined the practice on October 8, and Olivia Knecht, LSCC’s new cosmetic consultant, was brought on August 31, 2020. “We continue to grow our team, giving patients access to the best, most qualified physicians, which is a reflection of our commitment as a practice to providing leading-edge care when it comes to medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology,” said Dr. Bryna Kane, Co-Founder of LSCC. Founding partners Dr. Bryna Kane and Dr. Edward Glassberg have provided high quality patient care to the Long Beach community and surrounding areas for more than 30 years, and are pleased to welcome two new professionals who will provide added value and expertise to the award-winning Laser Skin Care Center. Dr. Sara Hogan is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and currently serves on national committees for each of these organizations. A Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine graduate, Dr. Hogan completed her internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She then completed an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery-accredited cosmetic, laser and dermatologic surgery fellowship at SkinCare Physicians in Boston – the longest established program of its kind in the nation, with clinical faculty from Harvard, Yale, and Brown. In recent years, Dr. Hogan has served as the Director of Aesthetic Surgery for UCLA Dermatology Santa Monica and was a clinical instructor in dermatology at the David Geffen School of Medicine. She brings more than 7 years of dermatologic experience to LSCC, providing patients with only the best care and reinforcing the prestigious reputation of the practice. The practice also recently welcomed a new cosmetic consultant, Olivia Knecht, who served as a PR and Marketing Director for one of the world’s leading beauty technology companies, Genesis Klinik, prior to joining the LSCC team. She has lived and worked in various parts of the world – including Thailand, France, and the U.S. – and obtained her master’s degree in Business Management from Bangkok University.
