The Ocean Beach Kiwanis Kite Festival is back!... after several years of postponement due to Covid. The Festival will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 10 am till 3 pm, at Robb Field in Ocean Beach. Children are taught how to make a kite and how to fly it, on a beautiful open field with such good wind that even a young child can handle a kite like a pro. In addition there are spectacular demonstrations by professional kite fliers. There is music, food, and games. Robb Field is very accessible, at the east end of I-8, and there is plenty of free parking. This event has been put on by the Kiwanis Club of Ocean Beach for 75 years!
