Truffle is the sweetest, most laid back, BEAUTIFUL 14 year old Calico you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. When Truffle came to us, she was very thin, dirty, and her mouth was full of cavities, broken teeth and infection; Truffle got oral surgery where she had nearly all of her remaining teeth removed. Truffle is no longer in the pain that she has been in for who-knows-how-long, but she is still a VERY old, sweet girl who is nearing the end of her days. My wish for Truffle is that we can find her a Fospice (Fur Hospice) home to spend the rest of her days in. When you decide to be a Fospice home, EVERYTHING you need to care for that animal is provided for you; food, bowls, litter, medication, EVERYTHING except for your time and affection. Truffle deserves to spend her final days/weeks/months in a home where she can relax and enjoy the life she has led. She has had to fight for everything she has had, her entire life; she deserves to have everything she could ever want, all the love and attention she can handle, and the warmth and comfort of knowing she has a REAL home that she can have the best ending to her wonderful life in.
