TPM is currently seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team of quality professionals working out of our Hillsboro, Or location. The Assistant Maintenance Manager is full time, works 40 hours a week (with the possibility for occasional overtime), and will be eligible for our generous benefits package after the waiting period. (60 days) This position is ideal for candidates with experience in general maintenance work, have good work ethic and willingness to work with and lead a team. Average Work Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm; occasional weekends may be required Direct Supervisor: Maintenance Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct report to maintenance manager Perform construction or repairs to residential multifamily apt buildings. Duties include: repairs to appliances, basic electrical, basic plumbing, light patching and painting. Perform painting for site. Duties include prepping area, light patch work, painting and finishing; use of rollers and brushes, or occasionally sprayers. Comfortable with replacing plumbing fixtures, clearing drains and other light plumbing activities Experienced with simple commercial electrical work, wiring, troubleshooting, and installations. Must be able to effectively communicate in English with supervisor and follow instructions. Must be able to effectively carry out all of the essential job duties.
