Looking to hire by end of March! Sea Reach Ltd. is an award-winning, full service exhibit design and fabrication firm located in Sheridan, OR. Sea Reach collaborates with private and governmental agencies in the design, production, fabrication and installation of interpretive exhibits and wayfinding signage. We work all over the United States, with some international projects. Our ideal candidate is polite and has a can-do attitude, can manage themselves, always looking to lend a hand, works well with others and has a sense of humor. Someone who listens well and thoughtfully follows instructions and contributes ideas about how to improve the work and products. Reliable - to work on time each day. We need somebody to operate, maintain our wood shop and CNC table, and assist our journey carpenter. This is an early generation Shopbot CNC. We will provide on the top training. You must possess the following Need to be able to lift 70 to 100 lbs. Good eyesight (to read tiny target marks) Methodical — it can be tedious work. Detail oriented Mechanically inclined - for equipment repairs Comfortable using computer interfaces. Self directed (might work alone 1-2 times a week) Familiarity with hand tools Part time OR full time position. General operating hours are between 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Salary is competitive.
