Jr. EV Installer Field Duties and Responsibilities -Electrical wiring of solar array/EV charger system (AC and DC) -Layout and assembly of solar modules / array and mounting hardware on ground and rooftops -Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules, EV chargers, and electrical equipment -Ensure that project site is safe at all times. -Ensure required tools and equipment are in good working order. -Properly dispose of trash and recyclable materials at job site. -Must be responsive to emails and phone calls from crew and management (within 24 hours) -Behave in a professional manner at all times -Partake in company training when required -Travel required Qualifications -1+ years of construction, roofing, solar or EV charger/electrical installation experience -Electrician trainee card, required -Basic understanding/experience with electrical wiring of AC and DC systems is preferred -Desire to learn and master all aspects of installing solar PV systems -Experience with all types of hand-held and power tools -Team player who listens, learns, and actively communicates -Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.) -Cannot be not be afraid of heights, willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and stand on feet for long periods of time -Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 lbs. -Experience with all types of hand-held and power tools -Must have own car, valid driver's license and clean driving record -High school diploma or GED required -Excellent written and verbal communication skills required -Excellent customer service skills required Benefits Long term employment opportunity with ability for growth in a fast-growing company Learn to design and install solar and EV charging station Paid training
