We are hiring a Landscaping Crew Leader/Drivers & Landscaping Crew Members for landscaping maintenance and landscaping projects throughout Rhode Island. Experience in using commercial mowers, weed whackers, blowers, etc is a must! Looking for a Crew Leader/Driver or Crew Members with 1+ years of Experience in All Phases of Landscaping and leading a crew. Crew Leaders must be experienced in Driving dump body trucks with equipment trailers. Candidates should be flexible and available to work extended hours when needed as well as Saturdays. Qualifications: 1-year minimum experience with a landscape crew using commercial landscaping equipment. Professionalism Attention to detail Ability to work independently Ability to operate various tools and equipment Ability to bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions Good physical condition with an ability to lift 50 lbs. Lawn installation (sod/seed/loam) experience Mulching & Edging Mowing, Trimming, Cleanups Hardworking, dependable, & punctual Crew Leaders/Drivers also must have experience in the following areas: Valid driver’s license with a good driving record Comfortable driving dump body truck w/trailer Operating a commercial lawnmower/mowing crew Strong communication skills with crew members & customers Strong plant knowledge and ability to identify Ability to identify any potential or existing problems Trimming shrubs/hedges Mulching and edging Grading Proper plant installation experience & Ability to identify plants Small hardscape installations (bluestone, natural stone, pavers) experience a plus!
