We are a multi-family property management company located in Poulsbo. The properties we manage are in Kitsap County with a concentration on Bainbridge Island. A position is open for a responsible and proactive Facilities & Custodial Technician. The Technician is responsible for escorting of vendors, every-day maintenance and upkeep of assigned properties including performing routine general maintenance, inspections, roof and gutter cleaning, and grounds maintenance. This is a year round position and we are interested in a candidate who is interested in developing a long-term relationship with our company. Position is full time Monday - Friday from 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM. Occasional after-hours and/or weekend work for emergencies will be required. Bonus pay for any after hours emergency calls. RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES - Use of hand tools (provided by employee) - Capable at carpentry and painting - Perform minor repairs - General maintenance and repair of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites - Troubleshooting and identification of irregularities and issues around the properties - Parking lot and sidewalk blowing/sweeping and portering services - Pressure washing of sidewalks, buildings, dumpster enclosures, etc. - Reporting mechanical malfunctions - Graffiti removal - Light bulb replacement and ordering of new light fixtures - Weekly computer written reports of walk thru's of building and facilities QUALIFICATIONS: - Valid WA state driver's license and safe driving record - Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and general computer operation - Ability to work independently using good judgment in all situations including emergencies - Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently - Attentive to detail - Enthusiastic about quality of work - Ability to work on call (occasional weekend or evening emergencies) - Ability to lift moderate to heavy weight (at least 50lbs), and work in high places (ladders, roofs, etc.) - Not scared of heights BENEFITS (Eligible after 60 days) - Medical - Dental - Paid Holiday (After 90 days) - Paid Sick - Paid Vacation - Short Term and Long Term Insurance - IRA
