Stupidity is a disease that affects us all. If it were painful to those afflicted with the disease, you might see some efforts at remediation. But, unfortunately, the endorphins flow when the mental midgets get their senses tweaked by republiturd lies. You can educate people out of ignorance. That’s the only way to fix the uneducated. However, “stupid” is a condition, whereas “ignorance” can be educated. But, it’s like a recalcitrant horse; you can lead it to water but if the horse will only drink from a white trough, then what do you do? You can’t drown him in it! From everything I can see, trumpeters don’t want to know the truth and they’re not smart enough to realize how ignorant their choices are. The psychological term is the Dunning-Krueger Effect. You can look it up but you won’t understand it. Of course, you’re not going to believe you’re not smart enough to know how dumb you really are. Because, you’re so dumb you think you’re smart. Get it now? So, there we have the crux of the issue. It’s like a Catch-22 thing. Trumpeters are in the thrall of propagandist that tell them they’re as smart as people who have had 10 times their education and experience. They want to believe they’re a Mensa member, even though they aren’t smart enough to realize that they are one of the biggest suckers in history!
