I have one (probably male, but not DNA sexed) parakeet. His name is Albert, but he won't mind if you change it.
He comes with a very large cage, easily suitable for another parakeet as well, plus food, toys, millet, and some disposable changing pads you can cut down for cage liners. He's a very good boy, and sings, and plays, though he is not hand tamed. His mate recently died, I don't know why, but he seems healthy as all get out still and I have only had them since January and they were bought from Petsmart. I don't think he wants to be alone, so I'm hoping he could come join your single parakeet for some company. Of get him and then buy a 2nd. But it makes me sad to see just him now.
