Neutered Baby Potbelly Pig w/ Special Need

Events

Baltimore MD

Description

This is Badger, who I relentlessly begged my spouse into agreeing to. I rapidly realized that I was not ready, our house was not ready (we just moved and are doing several large renovation projects) and the amount of time he can be safely out with us is too limited. He's bored, and sad, and nobody wants to make a baby pig sad. I made a mistake, and I want him to be in a better home rather than being with us and not having his best life. He is neutered, so the cost of that surgery and the unpleasant results of having an un-neutered pig are already spared you. :D He has been around children age 4-12, a smallish spaniel, and a cat, all without problems. When giving treats, however, don't have another animal near him because the dog gets hyper about treats and he gets hyper about treats and then it's chaos. :D His special need is a cleft lip, which causes him no problems at all but is cute because his tongue is usually poking out the side. He's very smart, and when his tail wags its pretty adorable. We have been starting to get him used to a harness so he can go for walks, but he's not there yet. DOB is 9/28/2021, and we bought him from Squeals on Wheels. Links to parent info below. They estimated a 13" adult height for him. His parents are 13" and 16" high. He and his supplies are $150 - a stack of fleece snuggle blankets, food, treats, dry skin spray, and bed/litter pan if you wish for any or all of that, plus a book about pig care (if I can lay my hands on it!). He was $500+ on his own, plus another almost $150 for the rest of his supplies. His neutering surgery is complete and documentation will be provided. He is legal in Baltimore City, please check on your own jurisdiction. Thanks! Parent Info (Starlight and Harry Half Pint): https://www.squealsonwheels.us/mom-dad-pigs
