Description
LAHASKA, PA — The Bucks County SPCA is looking for suitable owners to adopt some of the 40 mice that were recently abandoned by their owner.
A local resident found the mice in a small container in a parking lot in Yardley and brought them to the shelter, Van Zelst said.
While they might not receive the same level of attention as cats and dogs, these entertaining creatures can learn their names, do well with being handled and make for a great starter pet, Bucks County SPCA Communications Coordinator Morgan Van Zelst said.
Adopters will receive a tank and food with their mouse while supplies last. All adoptions are by appointment.
The Bucks County SPCA operates two open-admission, no-time-limit animal shelters in Lahaska and Quakertown.
