Part-Time Office Cleaner with Washington's Building Services Reports to: Washington’s Building Services management.
Job Overview:
A Janitor, or Cleaner, is responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks. Their duties include mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant and emptying trash cans or recycling bins, etc.
Office Cleaner Duties and Responsibilities:
*Responsible for floor care, performing various surface tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets of all office areas.
*Responsible for the maintenance of tables, chairs, counters, and carrying out tasks such as dusting, spraying, and wiping down surfaces.
*Responsible for removing trash in office areas and non-production areas.
*Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms.
*Responsible for cleaning windows in conference rooms, management offices, etc.
*Perform dusting, disinfecting, and polishing of surfaces and furniture as needed.
Qualifications:
*High School or Equivalent
*You will learn as you go however, any experience in maintenance is a plus.
*You should have great time management skills.
*You should be able to work well when being unsupervised.
*You should be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
*You should be able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
*You should be trustworthy.
*You should have a high standard for cleanliness.
*You should be able to pay attention to details.
Must be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 7:00pm - 11:00pm.
