**Any SURF jammers out there**?

I've tried this before with no final results. Being a little more specific this time. I'm an 'older' guitarist who was initially inspired by the guitar instrumental bands (the Ventures...etc.) and still Love to play that stuff, tho I can do other genres as well. I have a pretty good complete rehersal room set up in my basement...PA...two drum kits....nice little short scale bass with passable bass amp...mics and stands. Kind of plug and play. If your'e a drummer, bass player or guitar player....looking for (hopefully) a little fun playing with other musicians....get ahold of me. I don't want to give lessons, so would prefer players who are well beyond the beginner level...and who even know what 'surf' is. Ha. Have a computer in the rehersal room to pull up any song to listen to....learn...or play along with over the pa. I'm personally tired of playing with the backing tracks....(tho it is a wonderful learning tool). If your'e one of the people who might have came down on an earlier try by me to check out musicians....don't be afraid to come back down...I keep learning a lot more all the time. This is only for fun.....but..... a good surf band would definately be a super novelty now.
