General Overview Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities. Responsibilities Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the warehouse Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the warehouse Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions Checking loads are secure Stacking empty pallets Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards Dumping materials into machine hoppers Other warehouse duties as assigned Qualifications Education/ Experience: Warehouse experience required Previous experience in a customer-facing role Certified to drive stand up and sit down forklifts Employee should be familiar with and capable of operating standard office equipment (photocopier, facsimile machine, personal computer, adding machine, stapler, 3-hole punch, etc.) and warehouse equipment (manual pallet jack, dock leveler, scale, etc.); some lifting (up to 50 pounds) may be required Skills: Superior attention to detail Good interpersonal and customer communication skills Must possess excellent organizational skills; detail-orientated with strong follow through skills Enjoy a fast paced environment that is constantly changing Ability: Ability to manage and resolve conflicts with Liquidity Services’ best interest in mind Demonstrate a high degree of awareness to safety, accuracy and productivity Ability to work well in a team environment is required Work Conditions/ Physical Demands: Candidate must be able to work in a typical warehouse environment where there may be uneven floor surfaces.
