Providing year round quality education and care for children for over ten years in our home in North Columbus. I have over thirty years of experience of educating and caring for children in many different areas from preschool education to Assistant Director of an after-school program to Camp Counselor of an adolescent summer camp. I received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences with a focus in Elementary Education from Ohio State University. I am trained in CPR and First Aid with excellent references. There is a monthly learning curriculum that focuses on five educational areas: science, math, language, arts and humanities. The children's learning routine consists of : Small Group Activity (Encouraging small motor development and social skills) Circle Time (Understand the calendar and weather, shapes, colors, reciting the alphabet and numbers 1-31.) Story Time (Story is related to the Learning Focus of the month) Learning Activity Lesson (Practice writing letters, numbers and first name) * Full year availability with a daily school schedule (September-May) and summer break program (June-August). * Nutritional meals (organic breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack) * Plenty of daily physical activity with a fenced backyard, neighborhood walks and trips to the playgrounds that are walking distance from my home. ​* Preschool curriculum that focuses on basic skills needed for elementary school. In addition, development of social and self help skills.
