Hi,
I'm seeking reliable help loading a 26' moving truck on Saturday to relocate out of state. Everything is boxed and ready to go. I already have blankets, dollies, a pallet jack and equipment but would like to hire two strong guys to help make the moving day go more smoothly. Offering $18/hr with a 6 hour minimum pay if the job goes quickly, but please come ready to work a full 8 hour day just in case. Hours will be 8am - 5pm with a lunch break. Happy to provide lunch from the nearby taqueria, burger joint, etc.
We will be moving (from my apartment):
- A bedroom's worth of boxes and totes. Some are heavy with books.
- Furniture
- Sewing Machines and Tables
- A heavy crated sculpture
From my small woodworking studio a few blocks away from my house:
(There is a freight elevator and loading dock here to roll things straight into the truck)
- Lumber, Slabs
- 2 Big workbenches
- Cabinets and wall mounted fixtures
- Boxes, Totes
- A few woodworking machines - disc sanders, bandsaw, planer, drill press, miter saw, etc
