Charles Wade Construction LLC. Home Building/Renovation. We are a small Custom Home Builder and Remolding General Contractor serving the Texas Hill Country from Dripping Springs to New Braunfels west of the I-35 Corridor. We are currently looking for motivated workers to fill the roll of a skilled laborer/carpenter. I am currently hiring as 1099 subcontract labor but offer some perks such as paid holidays and vacation time after a certain number of days. We work Monday - Friday from 7am - 4:30pm (Quitting time varies depending on work load) On occasion a Saturday will be worked, but not often. Shop/office is located in Wimberley area. Typically we meet at the shop location, load tools and offer a ride to and from jobsite back to shop location (Project location can vary this operation). Employees must be willing to work hard, be able to perform physically demanding task, and be willing to learn. Must have a Current Driver’s License…. To qualify for this position, applicants must be willing to perform several different trade type task that are generally performed during home construction. We mainly perform all the wood framing and trim work on projects but also perform other tasks as needed such as: civil excavation, dirt work, fence building, metal roofing, and minor plumbing. If an applicant does not have experience in all of these fields, they must be willing to learn the fields they are unfamiliar with.
