Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Job Summary: Maintains a clean and orderly environment in the plant, offices, restrooms, and break areas. Does other related work as required. Major Duties and Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to the following): • Keep floors clean throughout day. Sweeps and mops as required. • Dusting, cleaning offices, break room, and restrooms (toilets, sinks, walls, urinals, mirrors, floors, etc.) • Removes garbage as needed; • Keep dispensers full of soap, towels, etc; • Performs other related duties as needed; Accountability and Miscellaneous: • Performs other duties as directed by QA manager. • Reports when supply inventories need to be replenished. Prerequisite: • Prior experience in janitorial work helpful, but not required. Knowledge and Skills: • Knowledge of safe work practices; • Skill in working independently/in the absence of immediate supervision; • Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work; • Good verbal communication skills; • Ability to perform all physical aspects of assigned duties; • Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in performance of job. Essential Job Functions: • Must be able to stand for the entire shift which is a minimum of 8 hours per day o Between 95-98% of this time may be spent stooping, climbing, walking, bending, pushing, and/or pulling • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds; • Must be capable of regular, full-time attendance Tri State Healthcare Laundry 551 South Loop Rd.
