Company Description The Info Agency is a licensed Private Investigations Agency specializing in the investigation of insurance claims, primarily worker’s compensation and auto liability. Our company provides a full range of services, from pre-employment background screenings to covert video surveillance. Job Description The Info Agency Profile Investigators conduct office/home based investigations of individuals involved in insurance claims and litigation. Profile Investigators are responsible for developing information regarding subjects’ whereabouts and daily activities. Profile investigators must be able to compile their findings in clear, concise reports that are used to determine whether surveillance should be considered and ultimately whether surveillance would be beneficial in the defense of an insurance claim. Profile Investigators conduct multiple investigations at once and must be able to manage a fast-paced, rapidly changing workload with multiple deadlines. Profile Investigators spend most of their time on the telephone and in front of a computer diligently researching their subjects. Profile Investigators must be able to identify and analyze pertinent records and other information available online and through various databases. Profile Investigators must also become proficient at developing information through covert interview tactics. Profile Investigators must be able to think on their feet and respond appropriately in order to maintain the integrity of their investigations. Profile Investigators occasionally must be available to work in the evening or on the weekend, however, Profile Investigators generally enjoy a standard business schedule with flexible work hours. Desired Skills and Experience Applicants do not need to have experience in the investigations industry to be considered for this position, however, you must be a quick thinker and creative problem solver in order to be a successful Investigator. Training will be provided. New employees will be required to obtain a Private Investigator's License from the Department of Public Safety - Private Security Bureau. Core competencies: • Fluency in English and Spanish. • Above-average written and oral communication skills. • Exceptional organizational skills. • Familiarity with public records and private databases (court records, property records, Public Data, UCC filings, DBA certificates, etc.) • Competency navigating social networking websites (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Tik-Tok, Twitter, etc.) • Ability to meet deadlines. • Ability to manage multiple assignments at once. • Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends. • Applicants must be at least 21 years old. • Applicants must NOT have been arrested, charged, or convicted in any jurisdiction of a Felony, Class B Misdemeanor, or equivalent offense. • All applicants are subject to the requirements of the Texas Department of Public Safety – Private Security Bureau.
