Job description Growing underground utility company seeking a motivated individual with a vast understanding of commercial building excavation. With new contracts and increasing demand for our services, we are eager to hire an experienced Finish Operator. Must follow all safety precautions for the operation of equipment and have knowledge of hand signals used on job sites. Qualifications: Able to shoot grade with laser Able to read blue prints Duties Include: Operates construction equipment, such as power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools Set up or inspect the equipment before and after operation Move levers, depress foot pedals, and turn dials to operate power machinery, such as power shovels, stripping shovels, scraper loaders, dozers, graders, mining equipment, or backhoes Have knowledge of and recognize hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications Must-Have: Great communication skills Excellent time management ability Reliable transportation Must be able to pass background & drug screen Opportunity could lead to foreman position for the right candidate!
