Warehouse Worker ________________________________________ About Arbor Carpet Inc: Leader in flooring for the multi-family industry since 1982, ________________________________________ Looking to fill the Warehouse Worker position at our Corona location. Basic Job Duties • Receive, store, and issue materials and other items from the warehouse • Pack and unpack items for storage on warehouse shelves • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse • Examine and inspect items in stock, reporting any damage to the supervisor. • Receive and count stock items, and enter data manually or on the computer. • Mark stock items, using identification tags, seals, electrical marking tools, or other tagging equipment. • Drive the company truck to pick up and drop off material. • Directly supervised by warehouse manager • Hours Monday through Friday and some Saturdays Requirements • High school diploma preferred • Flooring industry experience a plus. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. • Need to pass a background and drug test • Valid driver's license Skills • Flexibility Extension: The ability to bend, reach, twist, or stretch with the body, arms, and/or legs. • Near Vision: The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). • Static strength: the ability to exert maximum muscular force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. • Arm-hand stability: the ability to keep the hand and arm steady while moving the arm or while holding the arm and hand in one position. • Manual dexterity: the ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Work activities • Manipulation and movement of objects: use of hands and arms to manipulate, install, position and move materials and manipulate things. • Performing General Physical Activities – Performing physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and legs and movement of the entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, bending, and handling materials. • Obtain information: observe, receive and obtain information from all relevant sources. • Communicate with supervisors, coworkers, or subordinates: Provide information to supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates by phone, in writing, email, or in person. • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships: develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
