We are looking for a Full-Time and/or Part-Time maintenance person who is able to perform upkeep tasks of a Mobile Home Community. You must be able to execute work within established procedures and process both verbal and written instructions. Must be reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. Duties and Responsibilities: • Do yard upkeep by mowing lawns, collecting trash, etc. • Able to use hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walks. • Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures • Reports work accomplished orally and/or written to supervisor. • Maintain inventory of repairs to equipment • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol. • Perform other maintenance duties as requested. • Implement preventive maintenance measures. • Provides assistance to staff, visitors, and other employees as necessary. Skills and Qualifications Needed: • Able to work well with minimal supervision • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures • Physically capable of lifting 25-50 pounds unassisted • Experience in using commercial lawnmowers, leaf blowers, small hand tools • Minor painting • Any understanding or experience in Waste Water treatment plants would be an asset but not required. • Ability to work in poor weather conditions at times during the year. • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with management and other staff. • Should follow oral and written instructions and can communicate to others fluently both orally and written. • Have the Physical stamina and dexterity to perform the job duties. Education and Qualifications: • High School Education • Valid Driver’s License
