We are looking a Warehouse Associate to join our Kent team. Based on assigned duties, this person will: · Maintain a high and accurate volume of inventory picking. · Ensure that required inventory is picked within the specified timeframe. · Pack and palletize inventory safely and logically. · Load and unload trucks, containers, and customer vehicles safely and logically. · Ensure that freight is received, labeled, barcoded, and inventoried as quickly as possible. · Constantly monitor inventory for damage or safety concerns. · Drive PITs safely. · Maintain daily logs and tracking as required. · Maintain safety, training, and inspection records in excellent order. · Contribute to the Warehouse safety culture and report all safety concerns. Qualifications · At least 2 years of warehouse associate experience preferred. · Excellent physical stamina and dexterity. · Good verbal and written communication skills. · Good time management and problem-solving skills. · A positive, enthusiastic attitude. · A professional decorum. Physical Requirements The employee will likely be required to sit at a desk and look at computer monitors for much of the day. Lifting of up to 50 pounds unassisted is likely. Promotion Opportunities The next position in the Warehouse career pathway is Warehouse Lead. Promotion requires satisfaction of most of the qualifications of that role, plus at least six months of exceptional work experience at ALEKO.
