I bet they wanted to kill Jesus for not paying his due(taxes.) Bible speaks of “Idolatry”, and to not idolize man made objects. Worshipping the Cross IS Idolatry! It’s a Man made device invented to torture Humans(crucifix.) The Bible was written/rewritten by Man. I Love some of the wisdom of the Bible, still written/rewritten by man, so it’s man’s word. People who profess a Deep religious perception, yet want to Torture others(cut their nuts off), have zero empathy or compassion for others are called out Plenty in the Bible(Man’s word verse’s GODS word, LOVE.)
