The Opportunity WestRock is looking for quality individuals to join our Production team as a Machine Operator Assistant • Current openings in: Chesterfield, MO and Highland, IL • Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include stacking corrugated products, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. What you need to succeed The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safe, demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery and have a desire to advance within the company. • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Must be self-starting/self-motivated and able to work independently. • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately and on time. • Good communication skills including the ability to interact with other levels of management and staff. • Industrial manufacturing experience is preferred. • Must be flexible on shift as overtime is required • Must pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen and physical • HS diploma or GED required.
