We are establishing a new band with a powerhouse type lead vocalist singing many genres of music to perform throughout NYC (and a possible gig in CT). We’re doing 70s soft rock, R&B, blues, classic rock, contemporary hits, country favorites, ranging from 1940s music-today. We aim to do as few rehearsals as possible and then start performing ASAP. We want someone fully prepared by the time we book a studio to rehearse, basically so we can just tighten loose ends for two hours and then get out on stage and play! **We need someone responsible, committed, available and fully prepared for rehearsals and performances.** We split studio costs; the studio is only $25/hr. Also, someone who likes this music which is important so all are content : ). And if you can sing backup, that would be an extra big plus but not necessary. Here’s a sample of our song list.
