MUSIC INTRUCTION - As an instructor I offer creative Ableton Live and Logic X music software lessons for recording, production, beat making and songwriting, as well as traditional guitar lessons ( I studied classical and jazz guitar in college). We'll cover beat making with midi tracks and audio samples, recording techniques for vocals, live instrument and software instrument recording, as well as basic editing and mixing techniques. I can help you make music even if you have no experience as a musician. I offer in person lessons and remote lessons using Zoom. Zoom allows me to talk with you, view your computer screen, and I can control your software session (if you would like help inside of your Ableton or Logic session). I can help you at any skill level, and I have produced and taught many styles including Pop, Soul/R&B, Acoustic, Rock, Bossa Nova, Hip Hop, Funk, Latin and Classical. I studied music at Columbia College Chicago. I have a sliding scale rate between $65 and $85 for an hour lesson. In home lessons are available; travel fees vary depending on location.
