Description
Wilbur who is an orange and white tabby older kitten gives him gold stars right from the start, but add it a slightly goofy, super playful guy who still can find time to enjoy pets and purrs and you have a purrfect combination! Wilbur plays hard everyday- he examines everything around him to see if it will move or wiggle or squirm or if he can do something exciting with it! He LOVES to play! He has a slightly cross-eyed look that is quite endearing and when he is pondering over potential playthings, you can’t help but wonder what he is thinking! He loves a good belly rub and reaches out for pets and rubs and rewards us with loud purrs- just be aware, if you hand out too long, he will expect you to join him in play time! Isn’t that what friends are for? Our Wilbur is a friendly, young guy who loves toys. He enjoys greeting people who visit his condo & loves to put on a show for his visitors. This boy is hoping to win over his new family the way he's won over our volunteers! For more information on our adoptions or to see Wilbur's webpage, visit http://www.PawsOfHertfordCounty.org. Our process: If you are interested in Wilbur or any of our adorable adoptables, please fill out an adoption application here: https://www.pawsofhertfordcounty.org/forms/. An adoption counselor will be in contact with you following the submission of your application. If approved, they will arrange a meet and greet at one of our monthly trips to Chesapeake or at our shelter. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, as we are a volunteer-run rescue organization. All PAWS cats are spayed/neutered and current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. All cats and kittens are tested for FIV/FELV. All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
