Job description Rouvalis Flowers & Garden is a Boston-based urban garden design and installation company looking for a landscape crew member to assist with garden installations, maintenance and watering. Responsibilities include helping the Lead Garden Designer with installations, maintaining clients gardens, watering and making sure each account is cleaned before departure. You must comfortable on ladders up to two stories. Job Responsibilities: Assisting Lead Garden Designers with installations. Planting annuals, perennials, shrubs and small trees in container gardens like; roof decks, courtyards, window boxes and sidewalk planters Maintenance includes weeding, mulching, deadheading, bed-edging, watering, spring & fall raking, cleanups, and pruning. Loading and unloading trucks Use of landscape power tools Job Requirements: -Must be able to follow instruction -Proper pruning and planting skills, we will teach if needed -Must be able to drive a truck/van -Must be able to dig and lift heavy plants -Speak fluent English - Must be able to climb ladders -Valid driver's license of 5+ years Must be energetic, motivated, hardworking, honest, reliable, responsible and have a passion for plants and design This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn more about urban horticulture, train under professional gardeners, and interested in building beautiful outdoor spaces.
