City of Orlando Bike to Work Day - Group Ride led by Mayor Buddy Dyer
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will pedal into work on Friday, March 25 to restart the City’s annual tradition of hosting Bike to Work Day.
WHEN: Friday, March 25, 2022
7 a.m.-8 a.m. Check-In/Registration at Lake Lorna Doone Park8 a.m.-9 a.m. Mayor-led group ride to City Hall Plaza8 a.m.-10 a.m. Bike to Work Day Celebration at City Hall PlazaRiders will meet at 7 a.m. at Lake Lorna Doone Park, then head out at 8 a.m. on a group ride through Creative Village and on to City Hall. A Bike to Work Day celebration will be set up at City Hall Plaza at 8 a.m., where downtown workers can learn more about the City’s bike projects and connect to local organizations and resources.
Check out the Team Competition Scorecard to learn how your team can compete for top prizes. Winners will be announced at the celebration at City Hall at 9 a.m.
Free, all-day parking is available at Lake Lorna Doone Park for Bike to Work Day participants. Group bike rides will be led back to Lake Lorna Doone Park at 9:30 a.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m.
A limited number of Lime e-bikes will be available for those who want to participate in the group bike ride but do not own a bike.
