Learn the basics of sandblasting! In this class students will make a 4 inch by 13 inch channel plate. They will choose from pre-fired blanks and design from simple pictures, stencils or freehand; your design is up to you! Learn how to transfer a simple image by using 'Mask-Ease' which is used for screen printing. Students will be taught the basics of the sandblaster and sandblast their own piece. No experience is necessary. This fulfills the requirement to sandblast in open studio hours. For students safety please wear pants and closed toed shoes.
