Join us for a day of action and community building! We'll be breaking ground on an urban agroforestry garden and getting our hands dirty. Is it possible for a garden to fight climate change? What about provide healthy food for you and your neighbors? Or make your neighborhood a cooler and more pleasant place to recreate in? Join us for a day of CARE-ing. C.A.R.E.'s stands for community-supported agroforestry for a regenerative economy. Which is a fancy way to say we'll be building a perennial garden full of fruit trees, perennial herbs and vegetables that can not only feed a community for years to come but can start to heal many of the environment issues that we're all struggling with. This will be a hands-in the dirt event so please come with gloves and comfortable clothes and shoes. There will be snacks and water provided.
