Curly hair tarantula up for adoption. Her name is Betsy and I’ve had her for a little over two years. I believe she’s around 3 years old. I bought her from southern agriculture. They told me it was a female and about 1 year old when I purchased her. I’m not a big spider guy and don’t know much about them so I’m not 100% sure that the gender or age are accurate, that’s just what I was told. I’ve been feeding her 1-2 crickets a week. She usually hangs out outside her den when she wants to be fed. If you wait too long, she throws a fit and will hang from the top of the aquarium. I have never actually handled her because I was told that she’s ‘a runner’… and I’m not cool with that so I just let her be… The enclosure and everything inside of it comes with her. Asking a rehoming fee of $75, which is less than what I paid for her and the equipment. The only reason I’m rehoming her is because I suck at keeping crickets alive and I’m sick of constantly buying crickets… other than that she’s very low maintenance.
