Local Wines, Spirits, Food, Bands, and MORE The goal of the festival is to showcase Local Wines, Spirits, and Food. Gates will open at 3PM until 9PM. It’s a festival for the senses. Taste all that the Shenandoah Valley has to offer, from a refreshing cocktail to a BBQ sandwich piled high with all the fixins. Hear the rhythm coming from the stage. See beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain views right from your chair. Feel the summer sunshine as it lights up the day. Smell the fresh Valley air. This June we invite you to Taste the Valley and experience all that it has to offer. Live Music Line-Up: Josh Davidson Music Josh Davidson hails from theBlue Ridge Mountains ofVirginia. He is a local artist that plays a wide variety of genres including country, outlaw country, southern rock, folk and blues. He started playing music when he was 16 years old and continued to improve his craft. His inspiration through his music career has been Lynryd Skynrd, Tyler Childers and Chris Stapleton. Thundergun Thundergun is a classic rock cover band spanning the1960's thru the 1980's. Each sing lead as well as harmony and back up vocals. Playing together off and on for close to 40 years in different bands in some form or another. A band that likes to stay true to the songs they cover but also add their own twist. "I must say we enjoy it now just as much as back in the day, and I'm sure you will, too. To quote Bob Seger: "Come back, baby...rock n roll never forgets!" See you soon!" We have three types of Gate Tickets for sale on Eventbrite: Early Bird (21&older) for $25 ea. General Admission (35$) and a Designated Driver (DD) (16&over) ticket for $5. DD ticket holders will receive a DD armband. Children, 15 and younger, are free. All Early Bird and General Admission tickets receive an Official "A Taste of the Valley" Wine Glass and 6 free vendor tickets. Additional vendor tickets will be available for purchase on site All proceeds will go to updating and renovating the Fair Grounds and Page County's Economic development projects.
