The Baker Buffalo Festival had been a yearly event since 1981 designed to raise money for individual Baker schools and to increase tourism and interest in the City of Baker.
The festival is held each year at Baker City Park, located at 3325 Groom Road in Baker Louisiana. Over the years the Buffalo Festival has offered a wide range of attractions; from rodeos, pageants, balloon rides, car and motorcycle shows, bicycle shows, student-oriented talent shows and spelling bees, local artist showcases and much, much more!
