DIY full-color bookmarks with ribbons, beads, and charms, crafted from recycled magazines, newspapers, and colored paper! In appreciation of Earth Day, Crete Creative Gallery's April kids classes will focus on art that has function as well as reduces waste. This project will be eco-friendly, created from the most unlikely items! Each student can make up to 4 (materials + time permitting). You are more than welcome to bring your own scrapbook paper, charms, newspapers, magazines, ribbon, etc. to incorporate into your bookmarks-- it makes them more unique to you! ____ All free kids and teens classes require a $10 deposit when you register your student(s), a fee which is fully refunded once you check in at the gallery on the day of the class. If you decide not to attend the class, we will keep your deposit as a donation to the gallery's community activities. Class spaces are still at a limited capacity due to the pandemic. Face masks are still required to be worn while at the Crete Creative Gallery. As a non-profit organization, free classes like this are only made possible through the support of patrons just like you!
