Bloodborne Pathogen Training When responding for medical operations, there are many things that a responder (volunteer or professional) must be aware of. Of those, it is essential that responders be aware of and constantly on their guard to prevent the spread of blood borne diseases. Designed for those who are at risk for exposure to blood and other bodily fluids . The course teaches how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material.
