Press release from the College of Lake County Athletics: Men's Tennis - Wed, Dec. 9, 2020 at 8:40 PM College of Lake County Tennis Scholarships College of Lake County (CLC) offers a limited number of scholarships that can be given to CLC tennis team members. Because the number of scholarships is limited, not all members of the tennis team receive scholarships. The amount of a scholarshipwill not be the same for all players. The scholarships are usually for the spring semester. Scholarships are for the designated semester only. Tennis team scholarships are given in the form of tuition waivers. Funds will be deposited in a player's CLC account to pay for a certain number of semester credit hours. Students will register for classes as usual butshould choose a "deferred payment plan". Scholarships are not applied until later in the semester, sonot choosing a deferred payment plan could result in a player being dropped from classes for nonpayment. Students may change to a deferred payment online if they are not signed up for one. Students receiving a tennis scholarship must be enrolled in at least 12 semester credit hours and should create a class schedule around tennis team practice times and match days. Students receiving a tennis scholarship are required to take the CLC course KIN 121 each semester.
