Learn more about us at www.bear-electrical.com *Description Job Title: Material Handler/Driver Location: San Jose, CA On-Site Monday-Friday 7am-330pm - plus Overtime as needed Reports to: Purchasing Manager *Position Summary: Exciting opportunity to work for a growing company where your contributions make a huge impact. As a Material Handler/Delivery Driver you are responsible for contributing to the top of the line quality of work and customer experience that our customers have come to expect. As a niche market Electrical Contractor, our projects include but are not limited to – Traffic Signal and Streetlight Maintenance and Construction, Design Build of Fiber Optic Network Systems, Small Cell construction, and Smart City systems construction and implementation. *Responsibilities Include: -Works inside the warehouse and or outside in the yard depending on need -Accurately loads trucks for job site delivery -Material receiving and Organization -Able to complete work orders and receiving documents accurately -Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment -Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift -Maintains clean and safe working environment -Works with team to ensure branch success and provides excellent customer service *Qualifications -Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record -CDL desired but not necessary -Must be able to move supplies and equipment of up to 75 lbs. -Must be able to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) physical exam and drug test. -Must be able to work in a fast pace, team oriented environment -Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills -Previous forklift/warehouse experience desired but not necessary -Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired but not necessary Compensation Compensation package is dependent upon experience
