Students in these programs develop the hands-on skills needed for careers in transportation & product design, CNC & manual machining, robotics, computer drafting, technical drawing, 3D CAD modeling, civil engineering and much, much more. Proceeds help pay for student projects, such as our Design for Industry (D4i) student competition sponsored by Autodesk, DVC’s Engineering Technology and Design high school pathways & summer camps, robotic clubs, underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) materials and upgrading shop equipment. Trophies will be awarded to the winning cars. The trophies were made by DVC students, using computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines. Prospective students and the community are welcome to tour the facility and see our impressive CNC machining center, while also enjoying the diverse cars on display.
