"Coping with Covid: Art in and about a Pandemic," will present Anna Mecugni, Art Historian at The University of New Orleans. The LEH Daring Discussion Lecture"Coping with Covid: Art in and about a Pandemic," organized by the New Orleans Healing Center will present Anna Mecugni, Art Historian at The University of New Orleans, with moderator Nick Stillman, Executive Director of Prospect New Orleans on March 31, 2021, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Mecugni will reveal how artists and the creative community have been at the forefront of the renewal efforts to the pandemic, from New Orleans to worldwide, reacting to an unprecedented health crisis through their current art production. “Funding for this Rebirth grant has been provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and administered by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities (LEH) as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act economic stabilization plan.
