Tired of another award ceremony where famous people slap each other on the back…with no relevance to your life? Join us for REEL Experiences’ pre- award show Oscar Salon. In our 8th annual breakdown of the Oscars, we look at what the nominees for Best Picture collectively have to say about our story as a culture and country. We call this event an Oscar Salon because we don’t just watch an award ceremony, but instead we explore the themes that emerge from the best works of art from this past year. In addition, we will have guest speakers speak to these themes to help us better engage with culture and our world. Join us from 6:30 - 8:00pm to take part in the pre-awards discussions and presentations and stay for the watch party beginning at 8:00 p.m!
