Heather’s drive is to make people of all shapes and sizes feel beautiful. Leetie Lovendale’s retro-inspired brand has been on a mission to create fresh vintage jewelry and attainable fashion since 2010. But Heather's jewelry journey started much earlier. As a young girl, she spent afternoons digging through her grandmother's jewelry collection and crafted old rainbow telephone wire into beads. Heather launched a jewelry components and bead store business during her freshman year of college, along with her mother and business partner. She thought it would be a fun, short-term side hustle. Within a few years the business had grown to 7 figures and 40 employees. Heather spent her days teaching jewelry classes, served as a juror on Swarovski’s Create Your Style Contest and even published a DIY jewelry book in 2014. After years of traveling & trade shows, Heather made the decision to rework her life to be more available to her young boys. With a desire to get back to her design roots and make jewelry vs finding and selling components, Leetie Lovendale was born. Heather is originally from Portland, Maine and relocated to the desert in 2014. She runs Leetie Lovendale out of the FABRIC Incubator in Tempe Arizona. She and her husband Chris have 2 teen boys, Max and Alex, as well as an aging dog, Lola, and an embarrassing number of rescue feral cats. ___________ For the best experience, attend in person for networking. Apparel Entrepreneurs get the opportunity to introduce their brands. If you can't make it in person, tune in on our Facebook page where it will be live-streamed at 6pm. Find more info on this event on FABRIC.
