Description

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Bicycle Film Festival returns to Doylestown this weekend, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event will be entirely virtual. Hosted by Doylestown Bike Works and sponsored by Discover Doylestown, this year's festival is a 90-minute film program of Select Shorts, featuring some of the best short films programmed at the festival over the past 20 years, celebrating bicycles through art, film and music. This year's short films include the story of a charismatic Ghanian immigrant in Amsterdam who teaches refugee adult women to ride bikes, a bird-eye view of a Black Lives Matter bicycle protest ride from New York to Washington, D.C., and the struggle of a young woman and her bike in Iran. The event will raise funds for local athletes competing for the Doylestown Bike Works Cycling Team. Click here to purchase tickets. Watch the trailer below.
