WESTBOROUGH, MA — Starting this week, Westborough Patch is adding a dedicated reporter to cover all types of local news across town. My name is Neal McNamara, and up until now I've mainly been covering MetroWest and Worcester for Patch. But due to a staffing change, Patch is adding a new reporter to our Massachusetts team, allowing me to shift my coverage area west. In addition to Westborough, I'll be covering Worcester, Shrewsbury, Milford, Marlborough, Wayland and Sudbury. And although I'm new to covering Westborough, I'm not new to town. I live in Worcester now, but previously lived in Ashland. I've been riding my bike through Westborough along Route 135 for years and frequently take my dogs to Nichols reservoir — and I absolutely enjoy the offerings at Cold Harbor Brewing and Rocco's Doughnut Co.
