The Detroit (MI) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated is holding a Black K.A.R.E. Health Fair on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm. This family-friendly health fair is part of The Links, Incorporated Black K.A.R.E. Project. The Black K.A.R.E. Project focuses on working with community partners to raise awareness in the Black community about Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and its risk factors, complications and treatment. The goal of the Project is to reduce the risk of kidney failure in our community and improve outcomes for Black people living with CKD. We will have free giveaways, including blood pressure monitors for families, kids activity books and other swag. Our health partners will also be conducting free health screenings. Please come out and participate! *Registration is encouraged, but not required.
